Chrissi island is an almost flat island and it is just 10 metres above sea level on average. From far away it seems like a thin lane of land which overhangs the sea. Its maximum length is 5 kilometres, it is 1kilometre in average breadth and takes up an area of 500 square metres. Its highest point stands eastwards at the position Kefala and carries 31 metres. It is where the forestal guardhouse exists too which looks out on the whole island. In the west side of the island, at the Lighthouse exists the second highest point which is the North coasts (21metres). The average incline is 3-5%, while the rugged areas exist exclusively in the coasts, with elevations smaller than 5 metres.
Almost 700 metres to the east of Chrissi island exists the Smallisland, a small rocky island, which takes up an area of just 117.000 suare metres. The sea around the island is shallow. In distance of 1 Kilometre northwards and almost 500 metres southwards (the sea) is not deeper than 10 metres, while the equal in depth of 5 metres joins the island of Chrissi to the Smallisland.
